The immediate past governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, and his son on Wednesday evening, arrived Kano to face corruption charges pressed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was escorted by EFCC operatives and is awaiting his arraignment in a Kano holding facility which may likely hold on Thursday.
He was originally scheduled to be in Kano on Wednesday but returned to EFCC holding facility in Abuja from the airport after following what was regarded as ‘flight problem.’
