Former Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, has joined the list of candidates vying for the position of Bayelsa West Senatorial District.

The immediate past Governor has picked a nomination form for the vacant position following many endorsements by key stakeholders.

In a statement by his media adviser, Mr Fidelis Soriwei, on Friday, it stated that Dickson would make a formal declaration soon when he visits the state.

According to his media adviser,the endorsement he got from stakeholders cuts across all the segments of the society such as women and youth groups, top political leaders, traditional rulers, students groups and other strata of the society.

It was learnt that the key people who have sustained the pressure on the former Governor to contest the election, procured the form for him, bringing months of speculation about his participation in the election to an end.
