The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched a manhunt for a former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Maurice Iwu in connection with a N23.29b poll bribery scandal.

Iwu is alleged to have gotten his share for drawing up strategies on how the bribery could be perfected.

Iwu is a Nigerian Professor of Pharmacognosy who was appointed Chairman of INEC in June 2005, and was removed from office in April 2010.
