The state chairman of the Ekiti state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Paul Omotosho, has passed away after a brief illness.

It was gathered that Omotosho succumbed to health complications last night. The exact nature of the illness has not been disclosed.

A source who spoke with the members of the press said that the Imesi-Ekiti born complained of feeling unwell on Tuesday, which caused him to be rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.

It would be recalled that the late Omotosho was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after five days.

Sources suggest a possible link between his recent health struggles and a traumatic experience in 2023.
