The Ibadan Zonal Office of the EFCC has quizzed the former Chairman of Ifedore Local Government of Ondo State, Hon. Akinsola Adu and three of his Principal Officers for allegedly misappropriating the sum of N60M (Sixty Million Naira).

The amount was released to the Local Government by the Ondo State Government from the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P).

The suspected Principal Officers include: Taiwo Aladesuyi, Adefisoye Tua Agboola and Dare Alao. It was alleged that virtually the entire sum was transferred to a personal account. The suspects will be arraigned in court once investigation is concluded
