Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole has won his polling unit for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Oshiomhole, a former chairman of the APC, secured an overwhelming victory for the party in his polling unit.

Okpebholo polled a total of 403 votes at PU 1, Ward 10 of Etsako West Local Government Area.

Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party had one vote, while Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party recorded zero votes.

The New Diplomat reports that a total of 17 parties are taking part in the election but the contest is mainly between the APC, PDP and LP.
