ECOWAS on Wednesday expressed its sympathy and solidarity with Chad over Boko Haram attack in N’djamena which reportedly left 20 people dead and properties destroyed in the country.
In a statement, the President of ECOWAS Commission, Kadre Quedraogo, said the regional body remained supportive of the fight against terrorism.ecowas chad

Quedraogo described the attack as appalling, barbaric and despicable acts and wanton disregard for human life and property.
“ECOWAS reiterates its commitment to work with the Lake Chad Basin Member States in the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and all stakeholders to halt these horrendous terrorist attacks.
“They continue to pose great threats to the peace, security and stability of the region and the continent,’’ he said.
