The Senate on Thursday concur with the House of Representative Resolution to invite President Muhammadu Buhari to adress a joint Session of the National Assembly to intimate the lawmakers on plans to get the country out of the current economic recession.

According the lawmakers the briefing of the President will enable them to take further legislative action that would help to take the country of the economic recession.

When the House of Representative Resolution was put into vote by the Senate President Bukola Saraki, it was unanimously accepted by all the Senators present at the chamber.

The House of Representative on Thursday 22nd of September passed a resolution inviting Preident Muhammadu Buhari to adress a joint Session of the National Assembly on plans been put in a place by the executives to take the country out of the current economic recession
