The figures of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in Nigeria have continued to rise as fresh 114 infections were recorded by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday night.

This latest development effectively brings the  figures nationwide to 1095. The NCDC in a tweet disclosed that the new cases were reported in nine states as follows: Lagos, Gombe, FCT, Zamfara, Edo Ogun, Oyo, Kaduna, Sokoto.
