Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Ali Dalori, has appealed to members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) to remain united and not allow the resignation of the immediate National Chairman of the party, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, to cause disaffection in the party.

Dalori also urged the party’s stalwarts to be discreet both in words and actions following the resignation of Ganduje’s resignation.

The APC acting chairman stated this while presiding over the first National Working Committee meeting after filling, in the interim, the vacancy left by Ganduje.

Speaking at the meeting Dalori revealed that in the days ahead, he would share a practical roadmap to guide the NWC during this interim period with the party members.

“To all party members and stakeholders, I urge us to stay united. Political transitions often create uncertainty, but we must not allow it to breed disunity.

“We must avoid actions and words that divide us and focus on what binds us — our shared belief in the promise of Nigeria and the future of the APC.

“It will cover key areas such as party discipline, reconciliation, communication, member mobilisation, and broader stakeholder engagement,” he said.

Dalori further explained that his assumption of the national chairman’s office is at the behest of President Bola Tinubu, stressing that the decision is in line with the constitution of the party.
