Deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has welcomed a baby girl.

The baby girl was born on May 5, 2020 and the baby was reportedly given birth to by Sanusi’s fourth wife, Saadatu.

Saadatu, an indigene of Adamawa state, got married to Sanusi on September 25, 2015.

The dethroned Emir, on his twitter handle said “Our Princess is here Red heart Crown

“His Excellency, His Excellency Muhammad Sanusi II Receives His Daughter, God Liveth, God Bless You.”

Sanusi was dethroned as Emir of Kano on 9 March, 2020 by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje after series of running battle.

Following his dethronement, he was banished to Awe in Nasarawa State where he spent some days before a court ordered his release.

Sanusi was taken out of Awe by Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai and was flown to Lagos where he currently resides.
