As part of his strategy to gearner Votes ahead of this Saturday election, the Delta State All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate and Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege has wooed Civil Servants in the state.
Omo-Agege who engaged the Civil Servants at the state Secretariat in Asaba, assured them of improved welfare package and prompt payment of salaries.
The Governorship candidate said he’s not neophyte in the business of governance, adding that he is bringing his accumulated wealth of experience to bear on the administration of the state.
He dismissed insinuations in certain quarters that his administration would closed down University campuses opened in the Delta North region by current Governor, Dr, Ifeanyi Okowa.
The Governorship candidate pledged transparency, equity, fairness, justice and impartiality in virtually all undertakings of governance.
He assured the gathering that his administration would not tolerate victimisation of civil servants because their political affiliations or ethnic background.
He stated that all Deltans are one irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic colouration.
Omo-Agege who pledged to engage the youths through gainful employment, said that his administration would ensure development in all the sectors of the economy.
He, however, enjoined the state workforce to cast their votes for the APC Governorship candidate would take them to their Eldorado.
