Less than 24hours after the special Assistant on Security to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Honourable Bullet Utuaro, the younger brother of the current deputy governor of Delta State, Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, tendered his resignation letter, another member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Barrister Jay Stephen Ogor, has also resigned his membership.

Ogor, whose resignation letter dated 20th January, 2023, was addressed to the PDP chairman, ward 3, Ozoro, Isoko north LGA, stated that reasons for renouncing his PDP membership was mainly personal.

While wishing members of the party best of luck in their future endeavors, the PDP stalwart expressed optimism that they could still conduct their affairs in a most civil and mature manner in the near future as sons and daughters of Isoko nation irrespective of their political affiliation.

Please consider this as a formal notice of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), effective today, the 20th day of January, 2023.

My reasons for leaving the party are personal and best known to me.

While wishing you the best of luck, I do hope we can still conduct our affairs in most civic and mature manner irrespective of where we find ourselves in the near future as sons and daughters of Isoko nation.
