Barely two months to the 2023 governorship election in Delta state, the Special Assistant on security to Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Honourable Bullet Utuaro, on Wednesday, tendered his resignation and also renounced his Peoples Democratic Party,( PDP) membership in Bururtu LGA of the state.
Utuaro in a resignation letter sighted by The New Diplomat, dated 17th, January, 2023, and addressed to the executive governor of Delta state and the PDP chairman, ward 10, Bururtu LGA of the state, renounced his position and PDP membership.
According to him, failure on the part of Okowa’s government and the PDP to appreciate his enormous contributions to the party were part of the reasons advanced for his decision to dump PDP.
It would be recalled that Omo-Agege at the on-going ward to ward campaign hinted that top PDP bigwigs would join APC’s campaign train in the state.
