The Delta Commissioner of Police, CP Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa has reassured citizens of the state on the command’s commitment towards ensuring full compliance and implementation of all directives aimed at police reforms in the country.

The Commissioner decried the wanton destruction that characterised the nationwide #Endsars protest which was later hijacked by suspected hoodlums with the attendant destructions of both government and private properties and loss of lives.

The CP who spoke through a statement by the command image maker, DSP. Onome Onoveakpoyeye, assured that the Federal Government through police authority will address all salient issues raised by the protesters so as to meet the yearnings and aspirations of members of the public especially the youths as regards the operations and performances of the Nigeria Police.

“In order to ensure amicable resolution of the social unrest, all Deltans are hereby advised to sue for peace and abide by the State Government directives as regards the curfew and also partner with law enforcement agencies so as to build a peaceful and viable Delta.”
