Ahead of the 2023 election, Urhobo people of Delta Central Senatorial District have been called upon to support and vote for Chief Ede Omueya Dafinone as the next Urhobo Senator in 2023.

The group, Urhobo Frontiers, which has endorsed Dafinone as the next Senator for Delta Central, urged the people to support the Sapele-born technocrat cum politician for his competence, experience and undeniable capability to make Urhobo proud.

In a press release jointly signed by the National Coordinator, Mr. Goodluck Edafe and National Secretary, Mr. Dogood Iwhiwhu, the group appealed to Urhobo to rise above the politics of ‘garden egg and groundnut’ stressing that it was time to face the reality of life by voting for competent and credible candidates that could make Urhobo proud at the elections.

The group declared that it has endorsed the All Progressive Congress, APC Senatorial candidate, Chief Ede Omueya Dafinone as the best choice for Urhobo in 2023, urging the Delta Central people to support his senatorial quest.

According to the group, 2023 will provide an opportunity for Urhobo to vote decent, purposeful and morally conscious men into government, adding that it is fully prepared to mobilize people to ensure victory for Dafinone come 2023.

Urhobo Frontiers commended the scion of the late great Urhobo Senator, Chief David Dafinone, for yielding to the group’s call to join the race to rescue and rebuild Nigeria.

According to the group, “in a situation where those given repeated opportunities prior to the emergence of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, have no tangible achievements to showcase, Chief Dafinone becomes a good alternative that Urhobo can trust for a better representation.”
