…Shows Ojougboh’s Units, Ward, and LGA results won by LP

By Yemi Yusuf

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State has clarified that it was Cairo Ojougbo and not Senator Ovie Omo-Agege that worked against the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 election in the state.

In a statement signed by Delta State APC Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, the party said Ojougbo and his group were “suckering up the national executive committee and the presidential campaign council during the campaigns.”

Onojeghuo noted that “They were also busy at home taking active steps in undermining the prospect of the party in Delta State by openly collaborating with the opposition to defeat APC candidates in the various state and national elections.

“So far, the only notable contribution of Cairo Ojougboh and his group is to be caught on videography and photographs joining members of the opposition to celebrate the electoral losses of the party in the state”

The APC urged the president to ignore the rantings of Cairo Ojougboh, a former member of the party and his gang of detractors.

The statement added, “They are unnecessary distractions to your onerous task of nation-building ahead.”

To illustrate the point that it was indeed Ojougboh that worked against Tinubu, many have pointed to Dr Ojougboh’s polling unit results in the outgone presidential polls, which was won landslide by Labour Party.

Dr. Cairo Ojougboh Polling Unit 013, of Ward 06, Ika South LGA of Delta State Result for the Presidential Election:
APC = 20
LP = 214
PDP = 23
