The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its warm felicitations to the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, as he celebrates his 61st birthday.

The party, in a statement jointly signed by Delta State chapter Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie and the Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, described Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhoboland, as a patriotic and selfless leader.

In the statement, Sobotie also showered praises on Omo-Agege, the 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Delta S tate, as a selfless leader dedicated to advancing the welfare of his constituents and humanity at large.

The State Chairman declared that the APC is proud of the immediate past Deputy President of the Senate, assuring him of the prayers and support of the people in his endeavours as he celebrates a new age.

The statement reads in part: “Imbued with sound progressive leadership values and strengths in great measures, your creed is the greater good of the people and unwavering commitment to societal development and growth based on our cherished old values and modern innovations. Thankfully, these people-driven leadership virtues have etched your good name in the consciousness of our society.

“Your Excellency, we are proud of your principled, passionate, courageous and selfless leadership in our public governance space. For this and more, we will always solicit our people’s fervent prayers and support for you in your endeavours.

“As you turn 61 years old today in your amazingly blessed earthly journey, we pray that God showers you with more of His abundant grace, mercies and wisdom to do greater exploits in your private and public life to the glory of His name.

“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency.”
