The Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Barr. Chiedu Ebie Esq., Chairman, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) on his 53rd birthday.
The party expressed its gratitude to God for the life of the NDDC helmsman in a congratulatory message signed by the State Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie.
The APC State Chairman acknowledged that the coincidence of his birthday with the New Year is a testament to God’s grace and favor in his life.
Elder Sobotie emphasized that the party holds unwavering trust in Barr. Ebie’s competence to guide the NDDC towards enhancing the livelihoods of the people residing in the Niger Delta Region.
Ebie’s proven expertise in the field distinguishes him as a capable technocrat, ensuring his triumph in his recent appointment at the Commission.
Additionally, the APC extended its prayers for his general welfare.
“The APC in Delta State joins other well-wishers to celebrate one of our own, the Chairman of the NDDC, Barr. Chiedu Ebie, on this unique day. While this is not the first time an indigene of the State is occupying the office of the NDDC Chairman, it is however the first time a person of right disposition, full of energy, expertise and empathy is so appointed.
“We express gratitude to God for His favour and mercies upon your life. We are very proud of you and quite confident that you will excel in this assignment. The party wishes to assure you that every party member is solidly behind you in the onerous task. The Lord grant you protection, peace of mind and joy on the fresh milestone of your birthday,” the party stated.
It would be recalled that Ebie was appointed chairman of the NDDC in September 2023.
Chiedu, a graduate of law from the University of Benin (UNIBEN) is a renowned technocrat.
Prior to his appointment, Chiedu has spent over two decades in the private sector.
He held the position of a part-time managing director at Millennium Oil and Gas Company Limited before making a seamless transition to a full-time role.
Following this, he assumed the responsibilities of both managing director and chief executive officer at Millennium Oil and Gas.
He was responsible for overseeing a Nigerian hydrocarbon exploration and production company in his previous role, which has offices located in Lagos and Port Harcourt.
