The Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi has met with both Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and his estranged wife, Olori Naomi over the resolution of the issues between the duo.

The monarch who also doubles as Ondo state Council of Obas, was said to have met with his fellow monarch and Olori Naomi separately.

Olori Naomi recently took to her official Instagram page to announce her separation from Ooni.

Naomi said she was walking away from the three-year-old marriage over some irreconcilable differences between her and Oba Ogunwusi.

Shortly after, Naomi was said to have moved out of the palace for Akure, Ondo State where she resided since her marriage to Ooni in 2018.

According to a source quoted by the media, Deji of Akure who knew about the presence of Naomi in the town called a meeting with her in a bid to end the marriage crisis.

Thereafter, the monarch met with Ooni. The meeting was successful as both parties reportedly responded positively to the intervention of the Deji of Akure land.

The source said, “lt is true that the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas and the Paramount traditional ruler of Akureland, Oba Aladetoyinbo, took it upon himself to wade into the conflict between his fellow Oba and the Olori.

“It will interest you that the matter would soon be resolved as both parties have agreed to sheathe their swords. Differences are normal in marriage, it is nothing unusual, it is a teething problem and within a couple of days, the Olori will move back to the palace and life will continue.”
