Popular Nigerian music star, Davido, has no doubt earned himself the title of an A-list artiste after he was recently named the Artiste of the Year by a music publication.
In the Turn Table publication, the DMW boss bagged the Artiste of the year title. As if that was not enough, he also led in eight categories.
Some of the other categories where Davido came out tops include:
Top AudioMack Artise
Top Afropop artiste
Top Male Artiste
Top TV Artiste
Top Solo Song by a Male Artiste (Fem)
Top Streaming Artiste
Top YouTube Artiste
Other Nigerian stars who were celebrated by TurnTable include Omah Lay as his Bad Influence song was named Top Apple Music Song, while DJ Neptune ft. Joeboy and Mr Eazi’s Nobody track was named Top Afropop song for the year.
Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo was also named Top Gospel Artiste and her song, Obinasom, was named Top Gospel Song.
The news has generated reactions from fans on Twitter as Davido his one of the top trends currently on the social media platform.
