A popular Nigerian singer, Davido has reacted following report that popular club owner and Entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, otherwise known as Obi Cubana, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of money laundering.

It was earlier reported that the Anambra-born club owner, who arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at about noon on Monday, November 1 is currently being interrogated by operatives of the commission.

According to reports, his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Davido, while reacting to this development, posted Cubana’s picture on his Instagram story today, November 2, with a caption in Igbo.

He wrote: “Obi nwere Ego, meaning “Obi Cubana has money.”
