Davido, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Obi Cubana and other celebrities have congratulated Banky W for emerging winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) contest for the House of Representatives, Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 elections.
Banky W on Monday, won a landslide victory as he polled 28 to three votes in the just concluded PDP state Assembly and House of Representatives primary elections in Eti-Osa.
Reacting, the host of the Big Brother Naija reality show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu expressed support for the father of one via his Twitter account.
Ebuka on Twitter wrote, “One building block at a time. Congrats @BankyW! Time to prepare even harder bro.”
Davido tweeted: ‘Congrats @BankyW ! You have my support ! Don’t sit at home and complain get up and make a change ❤️🤞🏾’
MI Abaga wrote “Many will talk, few will do. Congrats @BankyW.”
DJ Neptune also congratulated the singer on Twitter saying, “Congrats Banky W!”
Obi Cubana wrote, “Congratulations @BankyW on securing PDP Primaries ticket for House Of Representatives.”
Banky W first announced his decision to run for the House of Representatives back in November 2018. In the 2019 elections, he contested the seat under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) but lost to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
