According to Forbes Real-Time Billionaires, Rupert’s net worth as of January 4 was at $10 billion while Dangote was second with $9.7 billion.

But Monday’s ranking by Forbes Real-Time Billionaires, which continuously updates the net worth and ranking of every confirmed billionaire, revealed that Dangote’s net worth increased by $10 million to reach $10.1 billion while Rupert’s net is still at $10 billion.

Dangote, the CEO of Dangote Group, currently holds the 191st position globally, whereas Rupert and his family are ranked at 197th.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Dangote is recognized as the wealthiest individual in Africa.

Bloomberg reports that the main source of his wealth comes from his ownership of an 86 percent stake in Dangote Cement, a publicly traded company. He possesses these shares both personally and through his conglomerate, Dangote Industries.
