The Chairman and CEO of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has immortalized the late former Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, Dr Herbert Wigwe naming the road to the Dangote Refinery in Lagos as Herbert Wigwe Road.

Dangote made this declaration while speaking at the Night of Tribute for the renowned banker on Monday.

Dangote, while paying his tribute to the late billionaire banker described him as a loyal friend and pillar of support.

In his words, “Part of the 120km refinery road. The biggest road will be now named Herbert Wigwe.”

The New Diplomat reports in February that the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings died alongside his wife and son in a helicopter crash in California, the United States of America.
