The National Identity Management Commission, (NIMC) has ordered the closure of NIN registration at NIMC Headquarters in Abuja.

In a statement issued on Friday, by the Head, Corporate Communications, NIMC, Kayode Adegoke, the commission encouraged members of the public, residents and visitors to the FCT who are yet to enroll for their National Identification Number (NIN) to visit any of the 20 newly reactivated centers from Monday, January 18th 2021.

He noted that as Nigeria’s Covid-19 cases increase, the newly created centres would help reduce the spread of the virus and make enrollment process easier for Nigerians.

Adegoke thereby advised Nigerians, especially residents within the Federal Capital Territory to visit any of the NIN enrollment centres closer to them and ensure full compliance of Covid -19 protocols.

The following are the newly created centres within FCT:
