To assuage the sufferings of People living With Disabilities (PWDs) as the Covid-19 economic crisis bites hard, Senator Osita Izunaso has donated N1 million to support PWDs registered with Kpakpando Foundation in Imo State and the FCT, Abuja.

The donation by Senator Izunaso, a former Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was effected on Friday.

According to a statement by the Director General of Kpakpando Foundation, Mrs. Pat John-Oseh, the donation will help the PWDs in pushing through the prevailing economic hardship in the country occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic. She also thank Izunaso for the kind gesture.

“Payment into the beneficiaries account commenced Friday, the 3rd of April 2020.

“This gesture is to help PWDs put food on their tables during this period of isolation as a result of COVID-19,” she said.
