The figures of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in Nigeria have continued to rise as fresh 220 infections were recorded by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

This latest development effectively brings the  figures nationwide to 2,388. The NCDC in a tweet disclosed that the new cases were reported nineteen states as follows: Lagos, FCT, Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi, Yobe, Borno, Edo, Bauchi, Gombe, Enugu, Oyo, Zamfara, Nasarawa, Osun, Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano, Plateau.
