Members of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID–19 briefed President Muhammadu Buhari  on the current COVID-19 statistics  earlier today at the State House, Abuja.

The  PTF team headed  by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha reportedly told the President details about the status of Nigeria within the global pandemic ranking as well as current figures of various categories of those within the COVID-19 radar.

President Buhari  was said to have engaged members of the task force on extensive discussions  in a bid to ensure further measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic as the weeks extension of the ease of lockdown comes to an end on Monday.

The SGF,  Mr Mustapha  later indicated that some segments of the nation’s economy will be open after the PTF receives approval from the President on Monday.
