The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari,  Abba Kyari, is dead. Abba Kyari  who was reported to have died of coronavirus  was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Lagos for the ailment.

His death  which was announced by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Buhari,  Mr Femi Adesina, in a Tweet on Saturday immediately triggered wave of shock across the nation.

“Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon,” Mr Adesina wrote.
