Comedienne Ada Jesus reportedly passed away this morning, Wednesday, April 21.

Human Rights activist, Gwamnishu Emefiena Harrison, who has been spearheading the care of the comedienne, confirmed this to newsmen via a phone call.

Nigerians have since been sending condolence messages to the family.

It would be recalled that Ada Jesus has been down with kidney disease for months with friends and concerned groups rallying to raise money for her treatment.

Just two days ago, the comedienne marked her birthday with some of her friends praying for her quick recovery.

Confirmation of her demise has not been made by any member of her family.

Meanwhile, some of her fans and colleagues have expressed their sadness at the demise of the actress on social media platforms.
