Popular Nigerian stand-up comedian, Seyi Law has announced the demise of dear mother who passed on in the early hours of Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

He shared the heartbreaking news via his verified Instagram page on Tuesday morning in a heartfelt write-up.

Seyi Law thanked his mother for teaching him kindness as he hailed her for her large heart. He also added that she spoke with his family the day before she passed, blessing and encouraging them.

His post reads: ‘ My mother slept in the cold and I couldn’t cover her. My mother followed me all her life and I left her alone. Oh Iya Seyi! I am so sorry death took you away from me.

You were the beauty on which the cradle of my life was built. My Gold has gone with the sunset and that golden smile is not to be seen anymore.

God, I can’t but praise you in everything. Thank you, heavenly Father. Please forgive my mother and celebrate her. She suffered and yet, showed kindness and the goodness of her heart never stopped.

Please rest on my mother and we love you. Mama rere.

The 39-year-old is happily married to Stacey Aletile and they are blessed with two children.
