American rapper, Cardi B has again taken to social media to slam a troll who referred to her as “ugly” some hours after she released the visuals for her latest single titled ‘Up.’

Following the release of the song some fans responded and claimed that she looked ugly whenever she’s wasn’t wearing make-up.

Cardi B swiftly responded to this as she  slammed the haters, trolls and insisted their words don’t work on her, with emphasis that she feels ‘great’ in her skin and has always been confident showing the real her.

Sharing a message of empowerment to Instagram overnight, Cardi wanted her followers to see her without make-up or filters as she filmed a social media video not long after waking up. Saying she has ‘never been afraid of showing’ her real self, Cardi slammed those who try to use her appearance to bring her down when she is celebrating success.

She however shared a video of herself on Instagram

“I’m confident in my own skin .You bhes need to ask ya self if ya confidence in ya self enought that ya gotta try to bring bhes down for a hobby that’s winning and in their 20s. [sic]’ In the clip, the rapper added she felt good, telling her followers in the clip: ‘I just wanted to let you know that I feel comfortable in my skin … that I’m great, that I’m happy, my records doing great. ‘Just because you have so much hatred in your heart, that when I do great, you want to put it down. You can’t. I’m going to stay on top with this face, makeup or not.’ Cardi said: ‘This is me without no makeup. No filter. You can see all the little blemishes on my face. S**t you can see my lips all chapped. I’ve been biting it all night. I just woke up 20 minutes ago. Didn’t even brush my hair. Like I feel good!”
