“The Senate cleared the ministers last week.”

The New Diplomat had reported that in a cabinet reshuffle on October 23, 2024, Tinubu approved the re-assignment of 10 ministers to new ministerial portfolios, relieved five others of their posts and nominated seven new ministers for transmission to the Senate for confirmation.

On October 31, 2024, the Senate confirmed all seven nominees after screening each.
