END SARS protesters on Monday allegedly molested business mogul and  Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rainoil, Mr Gabriel Ogbechie.

It was gathered that the protesters stormed the Summit Junction, Asaba opposite Rainoil Petroleum Filling Station, where they reportedly blocked the Asaba/Benin expressway.

This Correspondent learnt that the protesters consequently blocked the road with their vehicles, causing a heavy gridock along the busy expressway.

It was gathered that trouble however started when the private security men allegedly hired by Mr Ogbechie reportedly prevented the protesters from gaining access into the Rainoil filling station.

A tri-cyclist who simply gave his name as Odiegwu said, “the protesters were staying under the shade of the Rainoil Filling station before the private bouncers started fighting them.”

“Then all the protesters faced them and beat them up. It was during the process that they confirmed that it was the CEO of Rainoil that ordered the Private Security men to do so.

“After they found out he was in the office, they went after him and molested him,” Odiegwu said.

As of the time of filing this report , several efforts to reach Police Public Relation Officer PPRO, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya proved abortive.
