… NSA Staff gets $100K

The Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Niger Delta and the Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Prof. Charles Quaker Dokubo gave N700Million out of his looted Amnesty funds to Mr. Aliyu, an Aide to the National Security Adviser, Gen. Babagana Mohammed Monguno (retd.) as bribe to the NSA to save his job after damning reports of fraud published by ‪point blank news surfaced.

Besides, last Monday, Dokubo drove to the IBB Gulf Course wearing a blue Kaftan and handed a big brown envelope sources said contained an approximate $100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) to a man identified as Dr. Remi Oyewumi, a Special Assistant to NSA Monguno.

This is as the  Accountant-General of the Federation (AGF), Ahmed Idris, is making frantic moves to have the account of the Presidential Amnesty Program frozen to prevent further looting, point blank news gathered from reliable sources at the weekend. Amnesty office is under the direct supervision of the NSA.

Sources told ‪Point blank news that after series of reports detailing corruption at the Presidential Amnesty office perpetrated by Dokubo surfaced, he has been running to the NSA to seek protection.

According to sources, staff members of the NSA informed Dokubo of pressure from the Presidency to have him investigated and sacked. They also allegedly told him they can write a favorable report clearing him from any wrongdoing.

According to a source knowledgeable with the schemes to save Dokubo, staff at the NSA demanded bribe for the NSA and also members of the NSA staff who would be doing the reports to clear him.

Desperate to save his job, Dokubo arranged N700million for NSA Monguno and asked Oyewumi to meet him at the IBB Gulf Course for “something for the boys”.

Impeacable source told ‪Point blank news‬ that on Monday September 23, 2019, Dokubo met with Oyewumi at the IBB Gulf Course ‪between 3-4pm‬ and handed him a big brown envelop. The envelop is said to contain an estimated $100,000.00.

This is not the first time Oyewumi and others from the NSA’s office have collected bribe money on behalf of Gen. Monguno. They see Dokubo as an ATM, said a source at the Presidential Amnesty office.

In June 2019, Dokubo gave some high level officials of the  Presidency N1billion as part of his bribing spree to be reappointed Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty program, PAP, and Adviser to the President on Niger Delta.

Oyewunmi, a Special Assistant in the office of the National Security Adviser also collected what a source estimated to be over $300,000.00 in cash at the IBB Golf Club Men’s Box Room. Box Room is where Golfers bath and change clothes after golf games.

Some IBB Golf Club Caddies who then told ‪Point blank news about the large
Dollar sum to the NSA Staff, expressed shock at the huge sums that was
brought out from a bag by Dokubo and handed to Oyewunmi in the Men’s Box
Room of the IBB’s Gulf Club. Caddies are the Boys who help Golfers carry Gulf Bags.

“We have not seen that kind of cash in real life except in movies. We saw the man bringing out the cash in the Men’s toilet and handing over
to him (Oyewunmi). It was when we mentioned to some of our colleagues that we were told who they were.

A highly placed source in the Presidential Villa who is conversant with the movement of huge cash to Presidency officials told ‪Point blank news that Dokubo has spent over N5billion bribing those considered the decision makers for Political appointments.

Dokubo’ tenure as Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Program has long expired in May 29, 2019, according to his letter of appointment.

He has however remained in office illegally without any official letter or appointment extending his appointment, according to point blank news investigations.

Sources told point blank news that Dokubo’s continuous stay in office is at the instance of NSA Monguno who nominated him for the job. Monguno was Dokubo’s student and both have enjoyed symbiotic relationship.
