President Muhammadu Buhari is set to jet out of the country to Saudi Arabia.

Buhari will be leaving on Tuesday, 11 April and he is expected to be back on 19 April, an official release from the Presidency has disclosed.

The statement, endorsed by Presidential Spokesperson, Garba Shehu described the journey as the president’s “last trip to the Kingdom as President.

Shehu said that during the visit, the President will perform Umrah, the Lesser Pilgrimage.

Shehu also disclosed that the President will be accompanied by his aides.

The New Diplomat reports that Buhari will leave office as president on 29 May after completing his two terms as president.
