Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Whitemoney, has emerged as the winner of the season 6 edition, grabbing a whopping grandprize of 90million naira.

This was announced by the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu at the final live eviction today, October 3, 2021.

Liquorose, however, emerged as the runner up, as she got the second highest number of votes from fans after a competitive 10 weeks in the show.

Other finalists on the sixth edition of the popular reality TV show were evicted in this chronological order; Emmanuel, Angel, Cross as Whitemoney, Liquorose, and Pere clinched the ‘top 3 position’ of the season 6 edition.

Recall The New Diplomat had reported earlier today on how Whitemoney caught the interest of many Nigerians from his first week in the Big Brother House because of his consistent cooking for housemates. At a point, the hairstylist and entrepreneur was caught in a brawl with a fellow housemate, Pere, during the latter’s tenure as Head of House.

However, Pere’s perceived humiliation of Whitemoney invariably earned the latter more fans as viewers felt he was a gentleman for not reacting negatively, despite Pere’s repeated acts of aggression.

Celebrities that supported him on social media to win include; Yul Edochie, Fred Amata, Destiny Etiko, Tunde Ednut, Broda Shaggi, Cubana Chief Priest; and evicted housemates such as Queen, Saga, Nini and Yousef.

The other major contender, Liquorose, has also garnered support from several celebrities and fans alike.

Liquorose, who is a popular dancer and had featured in several music videos before going into the Big Brother House.

The N90m, grandprize includes; a cash prize of N30m, cash in an Abeg digital wallet, bitcoins courtesy of Patricia, a two-bedroom apartment from RevolutionPlus Property, SUV from Innoson Motors and a trip for two packaged by TravelBeta and many other consolation prizes.
