Voting has commenced for the Delta Central Senatorial District candidate under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The event which is taking place at the Ughelli kingdom Hall is featuring Chief Ede Omueya Dafinone as sole aspirant of the party.

As at the time of this reporting, delegates from five Local Government Areas out of the eight in Delta Central have cast their votes.

Dafinone is expected to win the APC Senatorial seat as he has no opposition.
