Self-acclaimed O’odua Activist, Sunday Adeyemo also popularly known as Igboho, has arrived Osogbo, the capital of Osun State to join a protest organised by his fellow agitators who had taken to the streets to demand the secession of Southwest from Nigeria to establish the Yoruba Nation.

The New Diplomat had reported that some secessionist agitators had stormed Osogbo to organise a Yoruba Nation Rally, which according to them will sensitise other Yoruba people on the need to join the agitation of the actualisation of the Yoruba Nation.

However, ahead of the rally, the security operatives laid seige at the proposed venue, thereby stopping the agitators from holding the proposed rally at the venue.

Men of the Nigeria Police Force(NPF);  men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC); the Amotekun Corps; and Local Vigilantes were seen at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, the proposed venue for the rally.

Meanwhile, the determined agitators regrouped at another venue to begin their rally as scheduled.

Igboho who has championed the self-determination call of the Yorubas in recent times, also arrived at osogbo for the rally at about 1:45pm on Saturday.

The New Diplomat gathered that the presence of Igboho has pulled a massive crowd, who have now joined the rally for the establishment of the Yoruba Nation.

It was also gathered that the initial heavy presence of the security operatives in Osogbo has been sabotage by the overwhelming supporters of Igboho who took to the streets to protest for the establishment of the Yoruba Nation.
