Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has conceded defeat.

This was through a tweet on Tuesday.
The tweet came midway to the announcement of the Presidential election result.

He tweeted: “Good morning Nigeria! Elections are over, but it is de javu! This election wasn’t free and fair. As you can see, even the “winners” can’t celebrate! #TakeItBack”

It will be recalled that Sowore defeated
President Muhammadu Buhari and Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar at his ward.

He defeated @APCNigeria APC’s Buhari and PDP’s Atiku at his RCM polling unit 005, Ese Odo LGA, Ondo State. AAC 208, APC 82, PDP 11, AA 8.

Sowore had commended the large turnout that greeted Saturday’s polls in Kiribo, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State where he voted.
