There has been shock  in many quarters as reports indicate that the Nigerian Army has disclosed that its officers and men acted upon the request of the Lagos state government to wade into the #EndSARS protest which rocked the State.

Arise TV reports indicate that the Army said it acted on the invitation of the Lagos State government following the aftermath of the #EndSARS protest.

Attempts to reach Mr Gbenga Omotoso, Commisisoner for Information and Strategy of Lagos state were unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.
