President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received his certificate of return as winner of the just-concluded 2023 presidential election.

The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu on Wednesday presented the certificate of return to Tinubu.

The event which took place at the International Conference CentreĀ  Abuja was largely attended by party members and loyalists of Tinubu.

Also, Vice President Yemi OsinbajoĀ  was at the ceremony.

Tinubu’s running mate Kashim Shettima also got his certificate of return at the event.

The presentation came a few hours after Tinubu was declared the winner of the Saturday, February 25 poll, garnering 8,794,726 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who scored 6,984,520.
