Men of the Nigeria Police Force have sealed off the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
They were said to have acted on the orders of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Also, the IGP is currently meeting with the two factions of the APC National Working Committee (NWC) at the force headquarters. The two groups have been making sundry claims and counterclaims over who occupies the party’s Acting National Chairman position.

The meeting, it was gathered is to enable the Police IG and the two NWC groups review and discuss the controversies generated by the various court orders obtained by the groups.

It was gathered the order, which was handed down through the FCT Commissioner of Police, to the APC Chief Security Officer, instructed members of the National Working Committee(NWC) are not allowed entrance to the party headquarters.
