Governors on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) cried out, saying outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan has ruined the nation’s, leaving them with empty treasury to start work.

The APC governors who met in Abuja under the umbrella of Progressives Forum also stated that president-elect, Mohammadu Buhari would be faced with unprecedented financial challenges as he takes the mantle  of leadership from Goodluck Jonathan on May 29.

Chairman of the Forum and Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha made the revelation on Tuesday,  when he led his colleagues to pay a congratulatory visit to the president-elect.

Fielding questions from newsmen shortly after the meeting, Okorocha said the non-payment of April  salaries by the Federal Governments was an indication that the economy was in ruins.
