Hundreds of civilains are fleeing their homes as suspected Boko haram terrorists are currently attacking near Maiduguri, the state capital, according to residents.
One resident said the terrorist came in large numbers to Molai general area on the outskirt of Maiduguri.
According to a resident, Ali Umaru, Molai general area came under attack shortly after Muslims faithful broke their fast.
Ali told SaharaReporters on the phone, “We are under serious gunfire from every angle.I can’t speak now, Boko haram are currently in Molai and everyone is running.”
A security source however confirmed that fighter jets are underway.
