The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Thursday present a Certificate of Return to the Bayelsa State Governor-Elect, Chief David Lyon.

Lyon defeated 44 candidates including the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Douye Diri, to emerge the winner of the keenly contested poll.

The commission’s Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Bayelsa State, Wilfred Ifogah, said the ceremony would hold at the Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Media Centre, INEC Bayelsa.
