In a distressing incident that unfolded early Friday morning, Mrs. Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General of Police l, AIG Hakeem Odumosu, was kidnapped from her home in the Arepo area of Ogun State.

Reports indicate that the abduction was carried out by a group of heavily armed assailants who stormed the residence under the cover of darkness.

The kidnappers were said to have stormed the home of the Odumosus, shooting sporadically into the air apparently to scare away people.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Police Command was said to have responded swiftly to the crisis situation, mobilizing a team of heavy operatives to the scene with the primary aim of securing her safe return.
