President Donald Trump of the United States has been reportedly hospitalized after testing positive for the dreaded coronavirus. The White House announced earlier Friday that President Trump, who confirmed his status late yesterday Thursday that he tested positive for COVID-19, will therefore spend “the next few days” at the military hospital in Maryland.
“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” the White House said in a statement on Friday.
Agency reports say Trump will be transported to the hospital by Marine One. Recall that earlier on Friday, White House Physician, Dr Sean P Conley had said Trump “remains fatigued but in good spirits.”
A latest memo released on Friday by White House officials had explained that the president was been administered with vitamins and other related medications for the coronavirus symptoms. Dr Conley, in the memo to White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, explained President Trump’s health status a day after he tested positive for the coronavirus thus:
“As of this afternoon the President remains fatigued but in good spirits. He’s being evaluated by a team of experts, and together we’ll be making recommendations to the President and First Lady in regards to next best steps.”
On her part, Conley maintained that First Lady Melania Trump was doing fairly and comparatively better than President Trump.
