Ebonyi State has recorded its first Coronavirus (Covid-19) case.

Governor David Umahi stated this in a statement on Sunday evening.

He said the patient is a 46-year-old man from Ukawu in Onicha Local government area of the state.

The southeast state has managed to stay off the Covid-19 tally since the pandemic struck the country almost two months ago.
